J.h. “jay” Campbell, Jr. Joins Board of Community Coffee Company

Nicole Lavella - JCampbellBaton Rouge, LA — Today, Community Coffee Company announced the elec­tion of J. H. “Jay” Campbell, Jr. to its Board of Directors. He joins eight other board members of this 97-year-old, family-owned and oper­ated coffee company.

J. H. “Jay” Campbell, Jr. most recently served as Executive Chairman at Associated Grocers, Inc. Associated Grocers (AG) is a Baton Rouge-based retailer-owned orga­ni­za­tion committed to serving inde­pen­dent retail grocers in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Campbell has spent over 45 years with AG including serving as President and Chief Executive Officer for 20 years.

Campbell’s expe­ri­ence as a Board member for multiple for-profit and non-profit enti­ties includes serving on boards and commit­tees for Shurfine International, Inc., National Grocers Association (NGA), Topco Associates, LLC, Food Marketing Institute (FMI), Public Affairs Research Council (PAR) and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), among many others. The non-profit enti­ties he supports range by topic from educa­tion to coastal restora­tion to commu­nity service. Campbell is also a member of the Baton Rouge and Louisiana State Bar Associations.

Campbell has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Law Center.
