Coffee’s Community Cash for Schools® Program Celebrates 28 Years

Baton Rouge, LA, April 2017 —This year, 796 schools partic­i­pated in the Community Cash for Schools® program, earning over $321,000 from Proof of Purchase collec­tion.

“We are happy to see so many schools in our local commu­nity and across the country utilize this program to advance the educa­tion of our students,” said Jodi Conachen, Community Coffee General Manager of Communications.

Now in its 28th year, Community Cash for Schools® has helped schools throughout the region earn millions of dollars by collecting Proofs of Purchase from Community® brand prod­ucts, including coffee and tea prod­ucts.

The program is open to local public and private schools from Pre-K through 12th grade. Schools allo­cate the money earned toward initia­tives and projects such as new computers, text­books, equip­ment, white­boards, and other educa­tional neces­si­ties.
