Vitacup Announces Three New Coffee Blends, Expanded Distribution and New Chief Vitamin Officer

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Aug. 1, 2017) – VitaCup, a growing new San Diego-based company of vitamin- infused coffee and tea pods, today announced three new flavors to accompany the brand’s existing two signature coffee and one green tea blend. VitaCup’s vitamin-enriched coffee and tea blends were developed by Founder and CEO Brandon Fishman in collaboration with fourth-generation Roastmaster Jeff McIntosh, and recently appointed Chief Vitamin Officer Brianna Hanratty, RD (Registered Dietitian), CNSC (Certified Nutrition Support Clinician), and CDN (Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist). The new flavors roll out in unison with VitaCup’s new online distribution through GNC, the world’s largest company devoted to helping customers Live Well with nutritional supplements, where all VitaCup flavors are now available for purchase.

The new amplified morning beverage blends include:
• Gourmet Breakfast Blend: This a.m. blend is characterized by its slightly sweeter taste, reminiscent of fresh fruit or berries. With a gentle, smooth profile and slightly nutty finishing notes, this light roast coffee is a perfectly refreshing start to your morning. It offers a pure, clean finish that keeps this blend airy and delightful!
• Gourmet House Blend: This medium roast offers a smooth, yet robust body and a strong full taste without bitterness. The 100% Arabica coffee beans produce a sweet, mild taste reminiscent of chocolate and nuts, creating a rich and luxurious cup of coffee.
• Gourmet Decaf Blend: This rich, medium roast features all of the great taste and vitamin filled energy boost of our Gourmet House Blend coffee, without the wakefulness of caffeine.

VitaCup’s mission is inspired by statistics that much of the population is vitamin-deficient in some way. The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) found that about a third of the population is at risk for vitamin deficiencies, while the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that only two thirds of the population are getting sufficient Vitamin D. Therefore, each of VitaCup’s flavors are infused with the brand’s signature blend of vitamins B1, B5, B6, B9. B12 and D3, and antioxidants.
