The owner of a Louisville coffee shop is offering two free coffees every day for a whole year for anyone who can identify the criminals who tried to break into his shop causing thousands of dollars in damage.
It happened early Friday morning at Fante’s Coffee on Grinstead Drive near Cherokee Park.
“When you have knuckleheads that do this it’s just heartbreaking, because you work hard every day and it’s difficult,” owner Leo Fante said.
Surveillance cameras captured two masked individuals spraying a black liquid on the camera above the shop’s front door before trying to get into the basement door.
“ADT, the alarm company, had notified us that there was a break-in and an alarm trip on our basement door, and so we knew something was up,” Fante said.
