Most crops require certain conditions to grow. Thanks to the diversity of production types, and human factors such as technology, coffee beans and wine grapes can be successfully cultivated in regions worldwide.
We plotted these areas on two “belts” that encircle the globe longitudinally. The major wine-growing regions span 30 degrees north to 50 degrees north; and 30 degrees south to 50 degrees south. While grapes can be grown in other parts of the world, these are primary areas of wine cultivation.
