Bulletproof 360, Inc., creators of Bulletproof ® Coffee and other cutting-edge food and nutrition products, announced today the addition of three executives to its leadership team and the opening of its new headquarters, located in downtown Seattle at 1012 1st Avenue. These new leaders will support the company’s momentum, focused on further improving the consumer experience and continued expansion of the brand’s grocery distribution footprint.
This announcement follows a groundbreaking year of company growth, including channel expansion into Whole Foods and Sprouts retail locations nationwide, and extensive product innovation that has doubled the Bulletproof product portfolio year-over-year. Products include the release of the brand’s first ever ready-to-drink cold brew version of its famous Bulletproof Coffee, leading-edge supplements like Smart Mode, and convenient travel packs of Brain Octane oil to support consumers’ on-the-go lifestyle with keto-friendly products. In 2017, the company also experienced a 70 percent increase in its employee base and brick and mortar expansion including a new Seattle café and the opening of Bulletproof Labs in Santa Monica.
“I’m thrilled to have Pat, Keith and Amy Jo join us on Bulletproof’s mission to create products and provide information that radically improve lives. They are all seasoned executives who will supercharge growth and the company’s capability to serve customers,” said Anna Collins, Chief Operating Officer for Bulletproof. “Getting the right leaders in place is everything. I’m equally excited about how each of them will contribute to building the company’s culture going forward.”
New Leadership Team Hires Include:
- Patrick Brown, general manager and vice president of grocery sales: Patrick has grown multi-billion dollar companies, and in his new role will drive multi-channel growth of Bulletproof products across retail markets in the United States and Canada. Most recently, Brown spent three years as vice president of Vega, where he doubled the brand’s revenue post-acquisition by WhiteWave Foods.
- Keith Bone, vice president of supply chain: Keith Bone brings over twenty five years of manufacturing and supply chain experience scaling operations, improving product quality and reducing costs at some of the world’s most admired food and beverage brands including General Mills, Frito Lay and Glanbia Nutritionals. Bone is known in the industry for his proven ability to increase capacity in “sold out” operations by double digits through creative engineering solutions.
- Amy Jo DiMeglio, vice president of retail cafés: Amy Jo has deep retail experience with Whole Foods Market, where she was responsible for overseeing sales and operations of hundreds of Allegro cafes. Amy Jo oversees day-to-day operations of Bulletproof Cafés and future retail growth strategy for the brand and has been instrumental in rolling out the “Powered by Bulletproof” program in Whole Foods Markets nationwide.
“I’m excited to join such a passionate nutrition-forward company. Bulletproof is at the forefront of creating products that easily fit in with on-the-go lifestyles and help people tap into their unlimited power,” said Patrick Brown, general manager and vice president of sales for Bulletproof. “How people define nutrition changes so rapidly, and Bulletproof is on the leading edge of that, backed by science and credibility.”
Bulletproof continues to grow as the leader in human performance and nutrition. In 2017, Bulletproof opened the first-ever Bulletproof Labs and its first Seattle café, released a ready-to-drink version of its famous Bulletproof coffee, and announced a $19 million round of Series B funding led by CAVU Venture Partners, led by Shark Tank judge Rohan Oza, and Trinity Ventures, the first investor in Starbucks. With continued focus and investment on innovation and consumer access that support the Bulletproof lifestyle, the brand promises to enjoy another groundbreaking year with new offerings and experiences for consumers.
