The Canadian coffee retailer aims to open new five cafes in Egypt this year.
Cairo – Mubasher: Canada-based Second Cup Coffee Co is planning to invest $20 million in Egypt over the coming five years.
Chairman and managing director of Maximum Stores, Second Cup Coffee’s exclusive agent in Egypt, said that these investments will be pumped into establishing a number of Cafes in the North African country.
The Canadian coffee retailer aims to open new five cafes in Egypt this year, in addition to another 50 cafes by 2020, according to Alborsa News.
It is worth noting that the Canadian ambassador to Cairo Jess Dutton and the Egyptian petroleum minister Tarek el-Molla have met on Sunday and talked over boosting Canadian investments in Egypt.
