BRICK – Lara Nikola needed a way to set herself apart from the endless choices of coffee both on the street corner and the internet, so she turned to an old-fashioned device.
She began sending thank-you notes to her customers.
“And I get hundreds back saying, ‘Thank you for your thank-you email,'” Nikola said.
Nikola owns Smart Sips Coffee, a company that makes flavored coffee that are compatible with Keurig machines, carving out a niche and attracting national attention in an industry that has no shortage of choices.
