It’s time for the 11th Annual 10-day Ka’u Coffee Festival. Day one begins April 26 and runs thru May 5, 2019 at various locations in the Big Isle’s Ka‘u District.
The festival highlights award-winning K‘au Coffee and everything that makes this large, southern district of the Big Island so special.
Events are at different venues over the festival’s 10 days. Activities include a scholarship pageant, paina at the historic Pahala Plantation House, Ka‘u Coffee Recipe Contest, Coffee & Cattle Day, Star Gazing atop Mt. Makanau, a mountain Water System Hike in Wood Valley, K‘au Valley Farm Tour where you can plant coffee seedlings, an all-day Hoolauea and the Ka’u Coffee College. Some events are free while others have a fee.
