Buffalo’s baseball fans have a new reason to cheer this season, as Dunkin’ Donuts is a new partner of the Buffalo Bisons. The collaboration, which marks Dunkin’ Donuts’ first partnership with the team, kicked off this spring for the 2018 season.
As part of the agreement, Dunkin’ Donuts will be donating one pound of coffee to the Food Bank of WNY for each run scored by the Bisons during all regular-season home games. Dunkin’ Donuts has been a longtime supporter of the Food Bank of WNY, most notably through the organization’s Food for Kids Initiative a set of comprehensive programs to help local children and their families access nutritious food.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with our hometown team in Buffalo, giving our fans many more opportunities to engage with us, now at the ballpark,” said Abbey Celeste, Dunkin’ Donuts associate manager of integrated marketing. “Buffalo sports fans are some of the most passionate fans around. We’re proud to keep these fans runnin’ on Dunkin’ throughout the summer and help out our longtime partner, the Food Bank of WNY along the way.”
The organizations celebrated on May 23 in conjunction with
Day. This year, one dollar from every Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee sold at participating restaurants in Buffalo will be donated to the Food Bank of WNY to support its Food for Kids Initiative.
In addition, Dunkin’ Donuts will proudly have a significant presence across the Buffalo Bisons’ digital and broadcast platforms in the area. The partnership includes a colorful wall banner in the outfield, as well as commercial and radio spots, inclusion in the billboards, and more.
