Ask a Southeast Asian to mention one coffee shop chain they know and you’ll likely get Starbucks or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, two of the largest coffee chains in this part of the world.
But there’s a new brew coming to town, hailing from the land of croissants and culinary finesse –– France.
The name is Malongo, a coffee shop/roaster group specializing in organic coffee. Once a small, humble roasting house in Nice, France, Malongo grew from a family business to the leading coffee company focusing on fair-trade and organically grown beans.
