McDonald’s has expanded its gourmet coffee offerings yet again, with frozen cold-brew drinks the latest to join the menu.
To celebrate this summer’s launch, participating McDonald’s in the greater Bay Area will be giving out free beverages Tuesday, Aug. 7. The promotion also applies to restaurants in the Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria areas.
No purchase is required.
From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., guests may select a free small Cold Brew Frappé or a free small Cold Brew Frozen Coffee. Both are made with a cold-brew coffee extract and blended with ice; the frappe is topped with whipped light cream and a chocolate drizzle.
A small size retails for $2.
