NEWARK, NY (WHAM) – A new business more than a year in the making is being forced to push back the grand opening.
Opening a small coffee shop has been the dream of Debbie and Bill Doran’s for more than a decade.
“We tried to open a coffee shop back in ’09 and when the economy tanked, we abandoned it,” Debbie said.
About five years later, they decided to try again.
In 2018, they landed back where they started; signing a lease on a property they first saw in 2009.
After nearly 18-months of work, the pair set picked Labor Day Weekend for the opening of Grind-On Coffee Company.
