An upside-down world map, a wall clock set to starship USS Enterprise time and wall art of a peacock made by a local sculptor are among the tip-offs that a visit to the eclectic TickTock isn’t like a trip to the usual coffee shop or meeting space.
How customers pay also is completely different.
They’re charged 8 cents a minute. And for that, the coffee, muffins, cookies, fruit and Wi-Fi internet access are free. Over the course of an hour, that’s a bill of $4.80, a bargain compared to some coffee shops that charge a combined $6 to $8 bucks for a coffee and a snack.
