What did you like most about this product?
Versatility and variety. A single machine has the ability to produce so many different types of coffee based on the guests’ liking and preferences. It can produce up to 27 different types of beverages. More variety means we can offer more to satisfy more customers. In addition, there is an option for skimmed milk and semi-skimmed milk for calorie-conscious people, as well as one or two espresso shots, milk chocolate or dark chocolate.
How could this product improve hotel operations?
This machine comes with a very special feature, a control panel where you can keep track of your sales data, as in, how many beverages and what kind of beverages you have sold in a day, which helps in tracking revenue. The product also comes with dedicated commercial and technical support from the Nestlé team.
How could this product impact guest satisfaction?
Nescafé Milano 2.0 has the ability to provide a ‘one stop solution’ at the touch of a button. The guest can immediately have their beverage from the machine as per their liking, taste and strength.
Did your hotel team find this product easy to use and maintain? Why/why not?
Yes. It is very easy to operate and is exactly as the brochure says, “all at the touch of a button”. All you have to do is press a button to refill the guest’s cup. It is also very easy for our staff to clean and maintain.
Is this product priced appropriately for mid-market hotels?
Based on the taste and the quality of the beverage that the machine produces, yes, this product is rightly priced.
Would you recommend using this product for your hotel food &beverage and/or banqueting operations? Why/why not?
Of course, yes. We already have installed two machines in our hotel, one for our breakfast operations and another one in our meeting room area. Moreover, we use the espresso from the machine to help prepare our tiramisu desserts.

I would like to thank Nestlé for coming up with Nescafé Milano 2.0, as this machine has some unique features and has been designed to consider the guests’ diverse preferences and needs. I believe that using this product in our hotel operations will give us the flexibility to offer the right taste profile for coffee to our customers and help us to improve our food &beverage guest satisfaction ratings.
Nescafe Milano 2.0 The speciality coffee machine from Nestle features beverage customisation capability with up to 27 beverages and choices between regular and intense espresso shots, milk or dark chocolate, skimmed or semi-skimmed milk. The machine’s control panel tracks real-time sales data and enables the operator to directly manage beverages and promotions. Its touch screen and colour coding functionality allows the user to simply ‘plug &play’ while operators will appreciate that the machine is easy to use and clean. The machine comes with Nestle’s ProCare after-sales and technical service.
