Coffee that makes a day go better

Making somebody’s day better with a good cup of coffee is what Epic Coffee here is all about, said manager Victoria Arredondo Nov. 16. The new drive-through coffee shop located near Safeway and Pend Oreille Valley Sportsman has a high-energy staff that loves to provide quick service with a smile. Prices are really good, said Arredondo, who added that Epic doesn’t charge for whipped cream. The eight-member staff comes up with a new $3 special each day, and Wednesdays is a double punch day for customers who want to earn enough card punches to get a free cup.

Shop owners John and Tina Campbell lured Arredondo away from Starbucks in Coeur d’Alene, where she had become a certified trainer. The manager takes pride in her staff’s commitment to good coffee and customer service. “We’re here to serve,” said Arredondo. “We want to make their day go better. We handle them like family.”

Epic Coffee is located at N. 313 State St. in Oldtown and is open Monday-Friday 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 208-946-7407.
