Organic medium roast, milk capsules and Cloetta Polly. Löfbergs is now presenting three tasty new capsules. The products will hit the stores in February and will also be available in Löfbergs’ web shop.
– This is something that we know many of our customers have longed for. They might also contribute to more people realizing that capsules are an easy and comfortable way of making a great cup of coffee every time, says Leif Sjöblom, marketing manager at Löfbergs.
This news means that Löfbergs’ wide assortment of capsules further increases. With capsules from Löfbergs, it is quick and easy to make a great cup of medium or dark roasted coffee, espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate or tea.
Organic and Fairtrade certified medium roast
Medium roast is Sweden’s most sold coffee of all times. The popular coffee will now also be available as capsules from Löfbergs. The organic and Fairtrade certified beans give the coffee a medium body and a touch of acidity and a nice long-lasting finish.
– Medium roast is a classic among Swedish coffee drinkers, and it feels great to be able to offer it as capsules. That the beans are both organic and Fairtrade certified is a part of our work of making sure that all Löfbergs coffee is certified by 2016, says Leif Sjöblom, marketing manager at Löfbergs.
Welcome milk capsules
The milk capsule is used together with optional espresso capsules from Löfbergs to make a good cup of cappuccino. You will get the best result if you brew the milk capsule in a pre-heated cup, and then fill the same cup with an espresso capsule.
– One of the most frequent questions we get from our consumers is if we have milk capsules, so we know that this is a welcome product, says Leif Sjöblom.
Flavour favourite Cloetta Polly in liquid form
About two years ago, Löfbergs and Cloetta started working together when the tasty treats Center and Plopp were introduced as hot chocolate beverages. The assortment is now enlarged with Cloetta Polly, the most popular taste when it comes to bagged chocolate.
– Polly has a more “adult” flavour of darker chocolate, a taste of arrack as well as a hint of butterscotch and vanilla. Of course we hope to see the chocolate beverage as popular as the chocolate, says Leif Sjöblom.
A growing segment
The capsule market has grown strongly in Sweden in the last years. Sales of coffee capsules increased with 64 % over the last year. Löfbergs grew most of all the large operators, up with 225 % (AC Nielsen, December 2013).
