CONCORD, N.C. – Helen Griffith, director of marketing, Natalie Clontz, marketing manager, and Lee Wicker, senior vice president, national accounts, all with S&D Coffee & Tea, will share their expertise with students at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) as part of the school’s annual Business Week.
On Tuesday, March 29 and Wednesday, March 30, Griffith, Clontz and Wicker will be speaking to groups of 60 to 80 students about category management. In their presentation, Griffith and Clontz will define category management, discuss its importance and clarify how it differs in the foodservice and retail sectors. In his session, Wicker will be presenting on private brand initiatives in category management.
“As one of North Carolina’s largest private companies, and a leading provider of coffee and tea to the foodservice industry, we are committed to supporting the next generation of business leaders in our state,” said Griffith. “UNCW’s Business Week presents an excellent opportunity to share our insights firsthand and encourage students to consider a career in the foodservice industry.”
The annual conference, hosted by the Cameron School of Business at UNCW, includes two days of presentations given to students by representatives of the public and private sectors. These experts present on a variety of topics and provide students with insights into different careers. This is S&D Coffee & Tea’s first year participating in the event, and more information may be found at http://csb.uncw.edu/bw/.
