Just Love Coffee Roasters Announces Clean Water Partnership.

Launch of Beans For Streams program will fund clean water for Ethiopia.

Nashville, TN (April 4, 2013) – Just Love Coffee Roasters announced today their partnership with Waterstep, a Louisville-based non-profit organization focused on fighting the worldwide water crisis through their innovative and highly portable water purifications systems and health and hygiene training. “We’re excited to be teaming with Waterstep as this partnership enables us to have the opportunity to be directly involved with their work to provide clean water to the communities that need it most,” said Rob Webb, Founder and President of Just Love Coffee Roasters.

According to the The United Nations, every 30 seconds a child dies of water borne illness. Almost half of all people in developing countries suffer from health problems caused by poor water sanitation. Since 2011 Just Love Coffee Roasters has committed 5% of all profits to address the water crisis in places like Ethiopia where estimates indicate that 57 million people live without access to clean water. In 2012 these donations equated to clean water for 40,000 people.

To complement this partnership, Just Love Coffee Roasters has started Beans for Streams, a program that provides clean water for one person, for life – every time a bag of coffee is purchased through the program. “One Bag. One Life.” To learn more about the Beans for Streams program or to support the “One Bag, One Life” initiative, go to www.beansforstreams.com.
