Portland Roasting Coffee Hires Eva Attia as Director of Retail Operations

Promotes Martin Barrett to National Sales Manager

PORTLAND, Ore. (April 21, 2016) — Portland Roasting Coffee, a Portland-based sustainable coffee roaster, is pleased to announce it has hired industry veteran Eva Attia as director of retail operations. She will oversee the Portland International Airport (PDX) storefronts opening later this year, as well as Portland Roasting Coffee’s cupping room in southeast Portland. Two of the new PDX locations will open in July 2016, with the third opening in late 2016.

Attia is a seasoned coffee professional, with more than 16 years of retail experience with a national premier specialty coffee and tea company and has extensive experience with opening new retail locations. In the coming months, Attia will oversee all Portland Roasting Coffee’s retail locations, working closely with café managers to ensure a high quality experience for each customer.

In addition, the sales team has promoted Martin Barrett to national sales manager. Barrett has worked in sales with Portland Roasting Coffee since 2009 and has been promoted to develop strategy and grow broad line distribution, as well as lend his experience to the growth of direct business. He will play a major role in managing the continued growth and profitability of Portland Roasting Coffee’s grocery store distribution nationally.
