(Chicago, IL, USA) Modern Process Equipment (MPE) announces their latest technology in ultrafine grinding with the MPE G7.MG Microfine Granulizer. The G7.MG is a redesigned version of MPE’s existing G7, which merges both roller and disc-style grinding technologies in a single unit to deliver uniform and cool ultrafine coffee at a rate of 150 kg/hr. The G7 technology utilizes a water-cooled environment in which the whole bean coffee is ground to a 30 – 40 um particle size utilizing MPE’s proprietary “NASA” grinding rolls and materials. This process results in microfine ground coffee with great taste, preserved color and high aroma that is ideal for natural coffee additions for instant coffee and other ingredients.
