Red Thread Good Signs Distribution Agreement with Dora's Naturals

New York City, NY (November 17, 2015) – Red Thread Good, a New York City-based organic, Fair Trade, full format coffee company, has announced the signing of a new distribution agreement with Dora’s Naturals, a major natural, organic food and beverage distributor based in South Hackensack, N.J. Dora’s Naturals will initially carry the full line of Red Thread Good’s products in 200+ stores with the potential to expand to its full network of outlets. This signing aligns with their launch of a new single origin PuristTM Sumatra, a first for cold brew.

“This agreement with Dora’s Naturals is a significant milestone for us, not only greatly expanding our distribution in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, but also reflecting interest in expanding our reach with cold brew and brew your own coffees for Red Thread Good,” said Eda Kapsis, CEO of Red Thread Good.  “Dora’s Naturals’ mission aligns with ours to provide natural and healthy products to our customers. We are thrilled to work with them to bring our organic and Fair Trade coffees and cold brews to more health-conscious consumers.”

Red Thread Good is one of the very few women-owned coffee companies and extends their commitment to the diversity among their employees, suppliers and service providers. The company was founded with philanthropy as a cornerstone of the business thanks to Polak, Red Thread Good’s President. The company donates 2 cents of every serving sold to a local charity dedicated to providing nutritious food to people in need in the community.

Dora’s Naturals is one of the top players in the Northeastern distribution market, with a beverage and food portfolio that includes Blueprint, Harmless Harvest, GT’s Kombucha and Sap on Tap. This distribution agreement brings Red Thread Good to new territories, rapidly increasing the growing list of retailers who carry its products, including Whole Foods and Union Market.
