Klatch Celebrates 30 Years With Their Signature Vineyard Blend
In celebration of their 30th anniversary, Klatch Coffee is excited to announce the release of their Vineyard Blend – a medium-light roast, with flavor notes of wine, coffee in honor of the first Klatch coffeehouse at the historic Thomas Winery in Rancho Cucamonga. Using beans sourced from some of the world’s most respected and sustainable farms, this Ethiopian-El Salvadorian blend also offers subtle hints of rose hip, framboise, and allspice.
The Vineyard Blend is available for purchase here
Klatch started in 1993 with the goal – serve great coffee. Their tagline “family owned, operated, and argued over” is representative of how important family is to the business.
The flavor choice of wine for the 30th anniversary release comes from the family’s affinity for the drink – daughters Holly and Heather are both certified sommeliers. The name is also a nod to the company’s roots.
“The inspiration behind the Vineyard blend really comes from the roots of Klatch Coffee,” says founder Mike Perry. “Our original store where we started 30 years ago is located on Vineyard Ave in the oldest winery building in California.”
“So creating a blend from some of our favorite coffees that also has notes reminiscent of wine just made sense. As a family we also love wine almost as much as coffee.”
This Vineyard Blend is Klatch’s thank you to their customers and a promise going forward that they’ll stay just as creative, persistent, and coffee-obsessed in the years to come.
