Kilimanjaro Coffee Now Available In The US

Elizabeth City, North Carolina. May 2020. World’s Greatest Coffees With a Purpose introduces Kilimanjaro Coffee to the US.

Dr. Frank Bald, founder of World’s Greatest Coffees With a Purpose, discovered Kilimanjaro Coffee on one of his trips to Tanzania, Africa. Being amazed at the quality and uniqueness of this coffee, he believed that US coffee drinkers would love this premium coffee. He launched his website: https://worldsgreatestcoffees.com/ in April 2020 to sell Kilimanjaro Coffee.

Dr. Bald, an Oral Surgeon from North Carolina, travels to Tanzania to perform Oral Surgery and to help teach sedation techniques to Dentists and Oral Surgeons to make their patients more comfortable. On his past trips he has brought and donated medical equipment, supplies and medications. He has worked on cases with the Tanzania Oral Surgery Group.

Tanzania has 15 Oral Surgeons for a population of 55 million. Dr. Bald decided that to continue to help, he would donate 20% of the proceeds from World’s Greatest Coffees With a Purpose to the Tanzania Oral Surgery Group.

Kilimanjaro Coffee is produced by Choice Coffee Company, Ltd in Moshi, Kilimanjaro Tanzania, Africa. Founder and Manager, Rose Swai began the company in 2004. She has created a Coffee company that embraces community with special care for her workers and product. Rose is constantly bringing high quality standards to her coffee and realizes its important roll in how people around the world are connecting.

Rose Swai, after having worked as a Production Manager from 1998 to 2002 for a Coffee Processing and Export Company, began her small coffee company with one customer. She did the roasting in her town using carefully chosen private roasting companies and would package the coffee beans late into the night from 10:00 pm to 3:00 am, showing great love and commitment to amazing coffee. Later the company moved into a 10 x 10 meter premise and in 2009 expanding that premise to accommodate a Coffee Roaster Machine, a Coffee Grinder Machine, and with space to store raw and finished products and dedicated space for packaging.

Becoming

Choice Coffee has won numerous awards including becoming the Second National Runner for Business Plan Competition conducted by the Business Development Gateway Program (BDG) under Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) in 2009.

In 2016, Choice Coffee Company Ltd was awarded First winner in “Made in Africa Expo”.

In Oct 2016 Choice Coffee Company Ltd was awarded a certificate by Her Excellence, Tanzania Vice President, Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan for being one of the “2016 Top 50 Tanzanian Brands Award”.

Choice company has grown, expanding to employ 11 women and 4 men, experienced coffee workers. The passion for great coffee is seen in every part of the process of producing Kilimanjaro Coffee.
