Dunkin’ Donuts offering free coffee for blood donations
This month, Dunkin’ Donuts is offering free coffee vouchers to individuals who donate blood at a OneBlood donation site.
National Blood Donor Month is observed in January. Dunkin’ of Greater Orlando is giving away 17,000 coffee coupons good for a free medium hot or iced coffee at participating Dunkin’ locations.
Additionally, blood donors undergo a brief physical examination to ensure their health on the day of donation, including testing for COVID-19.
There is a nationwide blood shortage. OneBlood, which manages blood donations for a large portion of Central Florida, reports a tight supply but not a shortage.
Simply donate blood at a OneBlood donor centre or Big Red Bus blood drive to receive one. To locate a donation centre, visit the OneBlood website.
