Scooter’s Coffee Hires Mitch Langston as VP of Marketing

Mitch Langston has joined Scooter’s Coffee as Vice President of Marketing as the company accelerates its growth momentum. Langston will lead best-in-class marketing initiatives aimed at differentiating the Scooter’s Coffee brand, increasing customer engagement, and advancing the Scooter’s Coffee brand promise of delivering an amazing customer experience.

Langston is a forward-thinking marketer with experience in franchise development and facility management. He has also developed go-to-market strategies and

plans for multichannel media and merchandising in 26 countries. He accomplishes this through insight-driven brand management, field marketing, digital and social media, as well as product development, innovation, and promotion.

Prior to joining Scooter’s Coffee, he served as Vice President of Franchise Development and Senior Director of Marketing at Church’s Chicken. Additionally, he held marketing leadership positions at Chili’s Grill and Bar, Applebee’s International, Long John Silver’s, and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, among others.

Langston will prioritise initiatives that build guest loyalty and increase sales and unit profitability across all stores. He will assist Scooter’s Coffee in meaningfully connecting and engaging with its valued customers and franchisees as the company strives to provide the world’s best drive-thru experience. Langston will also assist the company in providing world-class franchise support as demand for the Scooter’s Coffee drive-thru concept grows.

Earning an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Texas, Langston was the top marketing graduate and a member of the Beta Gamma Honor Society.
