Bob Marley is known as arguably the most influential and commonly referenced figure in reggae music and while his legacy lives on through his iconic songs, not much is known about his second passion: farming.
Making the “One Love” crooner’s dream a reality, his son Rohan Marley co-founded Marley Coffee, an organic coffee plantation and “sustainable” farming business, in 2009. The business’ product is sourced in the Blue Mountains area of Marley’s homeland of Jamaica, as well as in Ethiopia. The business has produced a full line of coffee products, including whole bean, ground, single-serve and fraction pack coffees. Two of its most popular, however, remain the Buffalo Solder Ground Coffee and Lively Up Whole Bean Coffee.
