Sampling Coffee for a Good Cause

Erie’s Best Coffee at the Ambassador is an annual event hosted by St. Martin’s Center, a non-profit organization that provides assistance education and training to children and adults. The event offers opportunities for people to vote and pick their favorite coffee, as well as buy products from the vendors. The event has been going on for seven years and benefits the non-profit and the resources they provide to the community.

The event also provides networking opportunities for coffee owners with customers and other shops, as the area is transforming with new coffee shops and restaurants. Gisele Littrell, owner of Tipsy Bean, is excited to be a part of this change and loves collaborating with businesses.

Vendors sampled different coffee from different vendors, some new and some returning, with the goal of supporting St. Martin Center and getting their cups of coffee into the hands of people who might not have tried it before. Zodiac Dinor, which had a table at the event, hoped to gain new clientele by showcasing their offerings.

In addition to sampling different types of coffee, people could vote on their favorite and participate in a judge’s competition. The event is a great way to show people that they are open and showcase their offerings.
