Pink Coffee Is a Millennial-Pink Instagram Fever Dream

Pink Coffee, a Garland coffee shop, opened in 2019 and is known for its pink interiors. The cafe features heart-shaped chairs, a flower wall, a neon “but first, coffee” sign, and a full-sized princess carriage. Spice Girls’ music plays when customers enter the cafe, and a San Franciscan coffee roaster with rose gold containers and artificial roses line the entryway. The pastry case offers both pink and non-pink options, including Swiss rolls, cakes, cheesecakes, mochi pudding, and macarons. A literal banana bread, baked in the shape of a banana and studded with chocolate chips, caught our eye.

As boba lovers, we were pleased to find lavender among the dozens of Monin syrups behind the counter. There are several choices of nondairy milks, including oat, almond, soy, and coconut, and an impressive seasonal menu that was peppermint-forward at the time. A pink carriage in the middle of the shop is available for those who want to get carried away.

Pink Coffee recently announced a new latte, Stripes, with flavors of burnt caramel and toffee. We chose an iced lavender latte with boba instead. The staff were sweet, patient, and helpful, and we ordered a regular latte, mochi pudding, and kolache. The boba was cooked perfectly, and the mochi pudding had a buttery texture and grated coconut. The puff pastry with sausage was so buttery that it melts in your mouth. Overall, it was a fun experience and we are happy to recommend Pink Coffee.
