The barista worked six shifts at the store, at 1698 N.E. Seventh St. in Grants Pass, in the last three weeks.
The barista last worked a partial morning shift on Wednesday and tested positive for the disease late Friday, according to the release. Other employees on shift that morning are in self-isolation and on paid leave.
The company said it’s ordered a deep clean of the Seventh Street location and is working with local health officials to assess its sanitization practices.
Josephine County, where Grants Pass is the county seat, has 19 confirmed cases of coronavirus and one person has died. Across Oregon, the state has registered 2,253 confirmed cases and 87 deaths.
