18 Prime Day Deals on Coffee Gear, Subscriptions, and More

Finally, Amazon’s Prime Day has arrived, and that means discounts on virtually everything. We’ve sifted through them all for you because it can be incredibly overwhelming to sort through all of them. Here are the best deals on coffee equipment, espresso machines, coffee subscriptions, and other coffee-related items.

The WIRED Gear team tests products throughout the year. We manually sorted through hundreds of thousands of deals to select these. Crossed-out items are no longer available or no longer discounted. Our Amazon Prime Day coverage page contains the most recent articles, while our Prime Day Shopping Tips will assist you in avoiding bad deals. Also available for $5 is a one-year subscription to WIRED.

We’ve added a variety of new deals on machines, grinders, and mugs on 13 July.

($91 off) $209 for a Mr. Coffee One-Touch Espresso and Cappuccino Machine.
The Mr. Coffee One-Touch latte and cappuccino machine is our top pick. The director of reviews for WIRED, Jeffrey Van Camp, states that it produces an espresso that is as good as it can be from almost anything; he even tested it with standard Maxwell House coffee and it produced a satisfactory espresso. However, it does not produce quite the same robust flavor as Breville machines, and as you will see below, it is significantly less expensive.

Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista Espresso and Cappuccino Machine on sale for $150 (a $50 discount).
The Barista is a scaled-down version of the One-Touch, but it is still an excellent machine for only $200 when not on sale. It is more plasticky than the One-Touch, so you will need to hold it steady as you twist the portafilter into position. Van Camp observed that the milk was slightly more foamy than he prefers.

($210 off) $490 for the De’Longhi EC9155MB La Specialista Arte Espresso Machine.
This espresso machine is an upgrade from the De’Longhi Stilosa that we recommend in our guide. It has a built-in burr grinder and a few presets, with the Americano preset being particularly impressive.

Espresso machine De’Longhi EC9335 La Specialista for $630 ($270 off)
This version of the La Specialista requires additional counter space; it’s a chonk, if you will. However, it tamps your grounds for you and provides a few presets. Similar to the version above, this model has an integrated burr grinder and separate water spout.
