Dunkin’ bringing back pumpkin spice latte, coffee, donut early with new fall cold brew

Dunkin’ is bringing back pumpkin spice season earlier than ever before.

The fall menu will be available by Aug. 18 at participating Dunkin’ restaurants around the country, according to the company. It includes pumpkin-flavored coffee, donuts, muffins, and Munchkins doughnut holes, as well as the new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and the returning Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte.

The Apple Cider Donut is also on the seasonal menu, as are two new drinks: the Apple Cranberry Dunkin’ Refresher and the Apple Cranberry Dunkin’ Coconut Refresher.

Coffee shops have been introducing the official fall flavour earlier and earlier in recent years. Pumpkin Pandemonium returned to Dunkin’ last year on August 19, two days earlier than this year. On August 25, 2020, pumpkin returned to Starbucks.

Anh-Dao Kefor, Dunkin’ director of integrated marketing, said in a statement to USA TODAY that the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte in medium will be offered for $3 for a limited time.

Starbucks has not yet announced a release date for its Pumpkin Spice Latte, the drink that sparked the pumpkin obsession 18 years ago.

According to a Nissin Foods poll of 2,000 consumers aged 18 and up, more over half of Gen Z respondents are enamoured with pumpkin spice. In late October, the ramen noodle manufacturer will release a limited-edition Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice flavour at certain Walmart locations.
