Today, Franke Coffee Systems inaugurated its new business location in the Japanese market’s capital. The new office building in Japan houses the showroom, training facilities, and workplace for the local staff. Following the registration of its master distribution license in Japan in 2021, the opening represents another significant milestone in Franke’s evolving strategy for Asia.
The opening ceremony began in the afternoon with members of the Franke Coffee Systems leadership team and Counsellor Trade and Investment and Head Swiss Business Hub Japan, Mr. Claudio Mazzucchelli, participating in a Sake Barrel Ceremony (Kagami-Biraki) – a Japanese tradition to mark the beginning of a new phase. Mr. Makoto Asamoto, a Japanese Restaurant and Café Adviser, will demonstrate how to make “Matcha-Coffee” using the Franke A800 with Flavor Station, a coffee-drink designed to commemorate the grand opening and served to all event guests.
The opening in Tokyo is a significant step for Franke Coffee Systems in developing the Japanese market. In Japan, Franke intends to continue to meet local needs and emerging consumer demands.
“Asia Pacific is one of the world’s fastest-growing regions for coffee consumption, and with our most recent opening in Japan, we will provide a platform for our partners and customers to showcase our solutions that perfectly meet the market’s growing demand for premium coffee beverages,” said Marco Zancol, CEO of Franke Coffee Systems.
“We are ecstatic to establish this business location in Japan. With this opening and our local team in Japan, we are confident that our Japanese business partners and end-customers will now enjoy even greater service, support, and direct access to comprehensive local solutions,” said Roman Probst, Franke’s Head of Global Sales.
The Franke Coffee Systems Japan showroom provides partners with the opportunity to explore the company’s extensive coffee knowledge and comprehend why Franke’s brand vision “It’s all about the Moment” defines the business of coffee. The company’s mission is to enable customers, such as restaurant owners and hoteliers, to focus solely on the satisfaction of their guests without having to worry about the quality of their machine or coffee.
