De’Longhi Australia, a small appliance manufacturer, has developed an online community for coffee aficionados, complete with a marketplace that connects customers with artisan coffee roasters around the country.

The Coffee Lounge was designed to help educate and encourage people who want to learn more about coffee and enjoy the culture behind the cup.

“This new website is designed to give you with all the tools and materials you need to brew the perfect coffee, whether you’re just starting your coffee adventure or a more experienced at-home barista trying to refine your skills,” says George O’Neil, marketing director at De’Longhi.

“We want to be able to support roasters across the country with the launch of this new website, despite the fact that lockdowns around the country limit how far we can travel at the time. Our goal is to assist the coffee industry and become the first stop for coffee enthusiasts looking to learn more and sample the latest and most diverse artisan blends.”

Coffee aficionados from all around the world are expected to attend, according to De’Longhi.

Consumers can explore and learn about different types of coffee beans in the Coffee Lounge’s marketplace so they can make barista-quality coffee at home. Industry Beans, Criteria Coffee, and Seven Miles Coffee Roasters are among the seven local roasters featured in the launch.

Consumers can take a one-minute questionnaire to assist develop a personalised suggestion for visitors of the roast most likely to suit their taste in a gamified process.

The lounge also includes industry news on trends and breakthroughs, recipes, and coffee expert tips and tricks.

According to O’Neil, “The De’Longhi Coffee Lounge intends to bring the world of coffee equipment and beans together for all coffee aficionados to enjoy.”
