Black Rock Coffee Bar to Open its Second Drive-Thru-Only Location in Phoenix for People on the Go
With the installation of a new drive-thru-only site in Phoenix, Arizona, Black Rock Coffee Bar, the famed Oregon-based boutique coffee company known for its premium roasted coffees, teas, smoothies, and tasty drinks, continues to increase its number of locations in the United States. This is the 19th Black Rock facility in the Phoenix area and the second drive-thru-only outlet for on-the-go Phoenix locals.
The 800-square-foot Black Rock drive-thru only store is located at 8847 N 7th Ave., near N 7th and Dunlap. On October 1, 2021, which is also International Coffee Day, the store will open. Residents of Phoenix can get free 16 oz beers all day at this spot to commemorate the occasion and the grand opening.
Black Rock Coffee Roasters was started in 2008 in Portland, Oregon, a coffee-loving city in the Pacific Northwest. The expansions in the Phoenix area raise the total number of business coffee shops to 93 throughout seven states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.
“Black Rock Coffee Bar’s relationship to the community is strengthened by this new location in Phoenix,” stated Jeff Hernandez, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Black Rock Coffee Bar. “In the United States, our drive-thru-only facilities account for 40% of our total store count and have proven to be extremely successful. For those who are on the go and don’t want to step out of their cars to receive their favourite coffee, tea, smoothie, or energy drink, we are excited to open another location in Phoenix.”
