‘Who Gives a Crap’ Is Now Bundling Coffee With Its Toilet Paper

Consider ordering your prefered coffee and receiving a complimentary roll of toilet paper on the side.

Who Gives a Crap began with a bamboo toilet paper line and has since expanded to include tissues, paper towels, and now… coffee. Because, at the end of the day, or at the beginning, drinking coffee accelerates your bathroom business—the more consumers poop, the more toilet paper they’ll order, which results in more money for charity for Who Gives a Crap.

Blend No. 2 is the name of the limited-edition sustainable coffee and toilet paper bundle, which retails for $18. A 12-ounce bag of coffee and one roll of bamboo toilet paper are included in the package. The coffee is described as a “aromatic blend of chocolaty, nutty, and caramel notes.”

“We know a lot of people drink coffee, and we’ve heard that coffee can make some people feel the need to go to the bathroom,” says Simon Griffiths, co-founder and CEO of Who Gives a Crap. “Blend No. 2 began as a fantastic April Fools’ joke in 2018, but now we’re serious—we’ve brought this concept to life for a very limited time to allow people to do good simply by drinking coffee.”

The Brand Guild is promoting the bundle on social media. The company brainstormed and expelled Blend No. 2 for six months.

With an estimated 52% of people reporting that drinking coffee makes them poop, the company that gives a crap is relying on the poop of others to accomplish a critical goal.

“Who Gives a Crap hopes that the Blend No. 2 Coffee Bundle contributes to our efforts to ensure that everyone on the planet has access to adequate sanitation by 2050,” Griffiths tells Muse. “We’d love for this launch to result in an increase in toilet paper sales, because the more toilet paper we sell, the more money we can give back to our impact partners working with local communities to improve sanitation.”
