Coffee has been found to be a potential shield against non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a condition characterized by fat accumulation in the liver. Research shows a link between coffee consumption and a reduced risk of developing NAFLD, highlighting the multifaceted benefits it offers for liver health. Coffee’s key component, caffeine, stimulates the central nervous system and triggers biological responses, potentially preventing fat accumulation within liver cells and aiding in fat digestion and excretion.
