Canadian Coffee Chain Tim Hortons to Open 150 Outlets in Korea Within 5 Years

Canadian coffee brand Tim Hortons plans to open 150 outlets in Korea within five years, following its first store opening in southern Seoul. The company plans to enter the country, which has a vibrant coffee market with coffee consumptions almost threefold the global average. Korea will become the seventh Asian country to have a Tim Hortons shop, following China, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines. Tim Hortons operates over 5,700 stores in 17 countries.
