Coca-Cola Introduces Its Newest Flavor: Coca-Cola with Coffee Mocha
A new year, a new Coca-Cola!
Coca-Cola announced the addition of a new flavour to its ever-expanding flavour portfolio on Wednesday: Coca-Cola with Coffee Mocha.
The offering infuses the iconic Coca-Cola taste with a decadent mocha coffee flavour. Each 12-oz. can contains 69 mg of caffeine, nearly double the amount found in a typical can of Coke.
This announcement comes a year after the launch of Coco-Cola with Coffee, which debuted to widespread acclaim in January 2021 and is already available in three flavours: dark blend, vanilla, and caramel. Coca-Cola with Coffee Mocha will be available in the United States beginning Feb. 7.
And this is not the only change that will occur in 2022. Coca-Cola is also rebranding the Coca-Cola flavours platform. The new design incorporates bright colours and a large logo at the top of the packaging. Cans with solid colours communicate a single flavour (cherry or vanilla), whereas cans with stacked colours communicate a dual flavour (like cherry-vanilla). A black script emphasises the sugar-free and calorie-free varieties, while a gold top indicates the caffeine-free editions.
All of this adds a “modern edge to the same great tastes,” as Coca-Cola puts it. Coca-Cola is giving fans the opportunity to sample both Coca-Cola with Coffee Mocha and the new Cherry Coke and Cherry Coke Zero Sugar designs before they hit the shelves.
Beginning Wednesday, interested customers can simply submit their address online. And, because the company is committed to innovation, cans will be delivered via a combination of robotic, on-demand, and quick-turn contactless delivery methods.
