A&M’s Center for Coffee Research and Education Named to List of Research Centers Making a Difference

The Texas A&M Center for Coffee Research and Education has been ranked among the top 20 graduate research centers that are making a significant impact on their communities and the world. Assistant Director Eric Brenner discussed the ranking and recently took a group of students to Costa Rica for a study abroad program. The center aims to help coffee farmers in Central America deal with threats such as low coffee prices, climate change, and coffee diseases by providing training and introducing genetic material resistant to climate change.
