How Nescafé Is Beating Everyone At Instant Coffee

Nestlé’s largest coffee segment, Nescafé, has annual sales of $11.6 billion as of December 2023. With one in seven cups consumed globally, Nescafé works with over 100,000 farmers and buys over 13 million bags of green coffee annually. With two dozen factories worldwide, the company faces challenges such as fluctuating coffee prices and higher labor costs. CNBC recently traveled to Vietnam to explore how Nescafé instant is produced, aiming to provide a behind-the-scenes look at Nestlé’s operations.
