Here’s Evidence That Even Heavy Coffee Drinkers Live Longer Than Non-Coffee Drinkers


For those of you whose morning isn’t complete without a cup of coffee (or two or three), there might be some good news: There’s another study in your corner showing the habit could be good for your health.

“Association of Coffee Drinking With Mortality by Genetic Variation in Caffeine Metabolism,” published in 2018 in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), “provides further evidence that coffee drinking can be part of a healthy diet and offers reassurance to coffee drinkers” — especially in regard to mortality.
