Honduras Coffee Exports Up 12% After Delayed Shipments Cleared

Honduras’ coffee exports increased by 12% in March compared to the previous year, due to delays in shipments from February. The Honduran Coffee Institute reported that the increase was due to sales schedules and shipments from February, which were delayed until March. The country’s cumulative exports from October to March totaled 1,936,281.23 60-kilo bags, 4% lower than the previous year. The country, which exports Arabica coffee, expects to ship out 4,983,333.33 60-kilo bags over 2023/24. The increase is expected to be normal.
