Bulletproof has expanded its coffee line with the release of Compostable Espresso Pods and Ready to Drink Canned Cold Brew Black Coffee. Bulletproof is the business behind the popular Bulletproof Coffee formula, which gives healthy fats and an energy boost.
Consumer interest in and demand for coffee has increased dramatically in the last year, with Bulletproof’s ground coffee sales doubling, making the new developments a strategic coffee category growth move for the company. Both of the new products are available in two flavours, and all of the coffee used is Rainforest Alliance Certified and made using Bulletproof’s own clean coffee method.
“Because coffee is in our DNA, we’ll continue to develop to suit changing customer requirements,” said Bulletproof CEO Larry Bodner. “Coffee is a fast increasing market, and customers are looking for a variety of ways to enjoy it. Through product innovation in the coffee area, we will continue to fulfil consumer demand.”
Espresso Pods that are compostable*
For at-home coffee, convenience and ease of use are top priorities. Over the last year, the number of coffee pod orders placed worldwide increased by 53%, accounting for more than half of all coffee orders conducted online**. Bulletproof wants to expand its pod options while maintaining the unique biodegradable feature, allowing customers to make environmentally conscious decisions.
Bulletproof’s first attempt into Espresso Pods will be biodegradable and constructed from bioplastics generated from renewable plants. They’ll sell 10-packs of the brand’s ‘Mentalist’ and ‘Original’ roasts for $8.99. Customers may drink the coffee alone or combine it with Bulletproof’s famous Brain Octane C8 MCT Oil and Ghee to make the brand’s original keto-friendly Bulletproof Coffee recipe. Bulletproof.com and Amazon will be the first to offer it.
Cold Brew Black Coffee in a Can With Vitamin B
The Cold Brew Black cans join three other Bulletproof ready-to-drink Cold Brew varieties in offering more caffeine (200mg) than the normal cold brew, as well as an extra dose of healthy energy from added Vitamin B and 0g of sugar. Cold Brew Black will be available in cans as a ready-to-drink beverage in two flavours: unsweetened and lightly sweetened (sweetened with stevia). Each can weighs 8 ounces and costs $2.99. They’ll be available in 12-packs for $35.88 on Bulletproof.com and Amazon, as well as single cans sold in locations around the country.
