Peet’s Coffee To LAUSD Employees: Free Drinks On Tuesday, Folks


Peet’s Coffee is helping to get the new school year off to a good start with a free drink tomorrow for Los Angeles Unified employees at any of the company’s 13 Los Angeles locations.

Shira Goldman, the parent of a sixth-grader, wanted to find a way to help district employees coping with new challenges due to the coronavirus pandemic and reached out to Peet’s Coffee, according to LAUSD Superintendent Austin Beutner.

“This is a great example of our parents and community working with Los Angeles Unified to support our employees,” Beutner said. “I am grateful to Peet’s Coffee for their generosity and parent Shira Goldman for her efforts on behalf of all who work in our schools.”
