Balzac’s Coffee Roasters in Canada and Terre Bleu Lavender Farm in Ontario have teamed up to create a limited-edition lavender latte. The drink is only offered during the lavender season at Terre Bleu.
If you have a chance to visit a Balzac’s location, you can sample the lavender latte and see what it tastes like. Balzac’s has also offered an at-home recipe, so it’s time to start barista-ing.
1 cup Balzac’s Organic Farmers’ Blend (Fairtrade)
1/4 cup half-and-half (milk or any dairy-free substitute, such as Earth’s Own – Oat Milk Barista Edition)
2 tblsp. lavender extract (see recipe below)
Decorate with a sprinkling of dried lavender.
