Starbucks Fans Slam The New Cold Brew Lemonade
Customers and even a Starbucks barista are going through it after trying the new Cold Brew with Lemonade from Starbucks. The beverage, a simple mixture of Starbucks Cold Brew and lemonade, has received widespread criticism on social media.
First was a TikTok by @kayli.cernan, a 21-year-old barista at Starbucks. Their brief video depicts them experiencing an emotional roller coaster while preparing and tasting the beverage. The initial reaction to the new menu item was surprise, followed by apprehension as the cold brew and lemonade were combined, and then disappointment upon the first sip.

The video received 1,300,000 views on TikTok, with commenters echoing @kayli.cernan’s sentiments. One user even claimed that consuming the beverage was “traumatic.”
The Cold Brew with Lemonade is not doing much better on Reddit. An entire Reddit thread is devoted to criticism of the beverage.

Not all Starbucks customers were extremely unimpressed by the beverage. A Reddit user characterized it as “a coffee Arnold Palmer.”
On the bright side, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is forthcoming.
