University of Florence to offer masters degree in Coffee
For some, coffee is the difference between a half-won day and a war lost from the start. Each morning, when its warm embrace cradles you out of your slumber, you forget about your problems for a brief moment, leaving you well-prepared for the thrashing life has in store for you.
So, if you want to drink the beverage while simultaneously giving knowledgeable advice like a wine connoisseur, you’re in luck since the University of Florence in Italy offers a master’s degree in coffee. The course has already attracted interest, and the first group of 24 students will begin in January. This is a nine-month programme. They will learn both practical and theoretical aspects of coffee.
According to media sources, the course’s supervisor, who is also the dean of the university’s department of agriculture, says the course would cover all facets of the business. This will include instructing students on the origins of coffee as well as providing the beverage.
