In our ‘Quaran-teen’ series of reports, we’re putting a light
While the COVID-19 pandemic has left many coffee shops struggling to adapt to new norms, the DNVR Coffee Company is thriving. Maybe that’s because nothing was ever normal for Blake Eatherton, who has been selling coffee from his bicycle-powered mobile coffee cart as a side hustle since April 2019.
He serves coffee to patrons who come in and the proceeds are donated to local charities in the Philadelphia Area. The cart has become extremely popular due to Jake’s personality and he loves serving the coffee.
The small coffee cart was donated by Portland Community College about five years ago and all the money spent at the cart goes back into buying what’s needed to keep it afloat.
