Two of London’s famous red telephone boxes have been reborn as a coffee stall, and the owners say the lack of inside space that was a drawback when they opened a week before lockdown could now be an asset in a socially distanced capital.
Although there is no shortage of essential goods and medicines in the national capital, a Delhi government report suggests that supplies dependent on imports, including coffee, diapers and dry fruits, may face a supply crunch if the lockdown gets extended beyond May 3.
Late on Wednesday, Vietnam’s government extended a two-week period of social distancing for 12 provinces in the country, but lifted those measures for most rural areas, including the coffee belt of Central Highlands.
